Pride of an INDIAN

I think i have written loads about me,
Let me write about the country which has given me the freedom and the knowledge to write whtever i want!!!

The patriotism for my country is something that has been in my family for years now.
My father and his cousins were in the army.
N so every Republic day and Independence day were celebrated as festivals

These days i really love when ever i hear the name of India.
I think the great Indian dream began with Lakshmi mittal's acquisition.
From the days of waiting for a chance to prove,
to the days of giving chances to other foreign companies,
We have come a long way.
The recent acquisition by the TATA's is a sure sign of things to come ahead.

For a country of its size and population,it is doing a great job by competing with already developed markets.

It is just that we still aren't seeing the growth that all crave for because of our politicians(read...it is our own mistake that we choose them).
Had they been committed to making this place a better one, than wht we see today,
Probably we would have been in a league of our own.
But even now we have great hopes from our politician,
For eg: Mr. Kumar Swamy seems to be getting hooked onto the idea of improving conditions of Bangalore.
N the ground reality is ,we are seeing certain changes (read......towards the positive).

Though there are lot of irregularities and complaints against any govt. .

It feels nice at times when sitting over a cup of coffee and the discussion turns to karnataka,Bangalore the conditions years ago,n the condition today.

Anyways with the stock market at an all time high(read... i don't know anything abt it,just heard ppl say.) and many companies out there giving everybody a job offer,i hope the good times are here.

I feel within years we would be a super power.

From a die hard Bangalorean.........

"Jai HIND"
