Knowledge and its sharing
What happens when a person who knows lot of things (related to work)
Ends up not telling those until the nth moment of final delivery to the customer
Well i dont know about others
I feel like bashing the hell out of him
Well for once in life
Let us analyse the basics of work culture and knowledge in general
Why do people work in a company (any company for tht matter)
Now what is knowledge in terms of the corporate world
Uhmmm this may have many different views and apprehensions
So people whom so ever who end up reading this,
It aint your views or your outlook towards life
it's just plain simple mine
For me knowledge at workplace is all about doing a work as simpler as possible and as sooner as possible,
Now the meaning of knowledge doesnt stop there
It goes on, it also means if somebody cant work like you,
Then helping them also to bring to the level wherein they have the self confidence to do that work as effectively as any other person in the organisation can do
Now there happen to be so many people who are experts at various things
ut when it comes down to helping thers with letting them know how to go about their work
Then it doesnot happen at all
they fear to let out what they know
Now why they fear is something only they can answer and i can assume(on this note, i would like to add this: My friend always tells "Never assume aything in life,always go with Data")
But cant help sometimes people dont open up
I feel they fear of losing their importance
If that is the case , i must say they are losing out on the importance of not letting others know of their skills and knowledge
Accepted that an argument like "How come if they are letting others know of their skills and knowledge,then how is that he is their in that position?"
Well for once, sitback and relax when i said not letting others know of their skills and knowledge,it was in a different spectrum altogether
I mean "what if tomorrow this company decides they dont want to work on that field at all?"
What if they decide to do a cost cutting measures and then decide to remove that department totally
So the guy who knows lot of stuffs but still who lets others a chance to know loads of stuff will still survive when under the knife
The reason in my eyes being that this guy will survive not only on the basis of his knowledge but on the basis of his being a team player
Believe me if you are a team player you always tell everything to your team(now i know it is time for eyebrows to raise)but this is the fact
Well its a lengthy topic so stopping here....
If anbody wishes to debate on this subject, I am a game for it

Well it is because they share a common goal and since they cannot afford going all along alone with their goal they join a company to puruse their ambitions collectively(ambitions though different are moulded over a period of time to see the growth of others and the organisation's in their own growth)
